Over the past few years, I have researched the line and its services. From this, I have been able to identify details of the trains that I should be building for the layout.  Detailed information on Thurstaston station itself is rarer.  More information, however small, would be useful to myself.  If you have access to any such material, or are just curious about the project, I would be very grateful if you would e-mail me on the address below.

The Scalefour Society - supporting modelling to P4 standards

The Friends of Hadlow Road station are a group supporting the preservation of Hadlow Road station. This Grade II listed structure is the first station on the branch from leaving Hooton and serviced the village of Willaston.  The group actively promotes the station through cleaning, renovation and improvement work, supported by fund raising, twice-monthly cafe days and an annual Santa's grotto.
